Contessa is a grade, two year old filly.  She came to BEHS from a neglect case – her owner had left a halter on her so long that it had grown into her skin.  A vet removed the halter, but she may have scarring over the bridge of her nose.    Contessa spent December 2011 and January 2012 with a trainer and was started under saddle.  He says she has a wonderful mind and was easy to train.  She’s quiet under saddle and willing to do anything she’s asked to do.  She’s still green, but she has loads of potential! “Available for adoption – in TX and surrounding states – no breeding or resales”
