Sweet and quite, Pepper is being sold as brood mare sound only. She could be brought back for light riding or for showmanship but her contribution as a brood mare has thus far has been golden. She is meant for this and I'd like to see her continue. As a yearling in training with Don and Dawna Harwell, and as a two year old, she did well in the few shows attended in Halter and longe line. She has been at Jackie Jackson's Top Step Farm since 2004. Started in Western Pleasure, Trail and Showmanship. Wonderful slow-legged jog with a flat top line. Problems with an inward turned foot led to repeated soreness during the rigorous training schedule needed for show. We decided to breed her and have had two wonderful babies thus far. Miss Chili Pepper is currently in foal to Sand N M' Shoes for a February baby. The sire is a son of Merry Weedo and is a buckskin snow cap.
